Payroll OfficerJoin our payroll team and take ownership of payroll excellence!About the role
  • Monday to Friday at Perth WAC Head Office.
  • Ensure the operational aspects of payroll processing and associated activities are accurate and delivered within appropriate timeframes and comply with relevant legislation.
  • Responsible for salary disbursement, overpayment recovery, leave management and reporting
  • Responsible for maintaining complete and accurate records.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable legislation and company policy in consultation with Payroll Manager
  • Continued progress in improving payroll processing and procedures.
About the role
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Sound numeracy skills, attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of current software - Chris 21
  • Ability to interpret awards/legislation
  • Industry experience is preferred but not mandatory
