AustCorp Executive have exclusively partnered with a long term client, a well-established, full-service metal manufacturer, delivering custom fabrication and metalwork solutions for construction, infrastructure, and engineering projects. With in-house design, fabrication, finishing, and delivery, they’re known for quality work, fast turnaround, and a team-first culture.The RoleWe’re looking for an Internal Salesperson or Sales Estimator who’s ready to learn, grow, and contribute to winning projects. You’ll work alongside experienced estimators and project managers, liaising with customers, reviewing drawings, and preparing accurate quotes. This role is ideal for someone from a metal fabrication, manufacturing, or trade background who’s confident with numbers and systems and keen to develop their estimating and sales skills.Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparing accurate quotes and estimates for fabrication projects
Work with drawings, plans, and specifications to scope jobs
Liaise with customers to clarify requirements and answer questions
Collaborate with production and engineering teams on job feasibility
Follow up on quotes and assist with converting enquiries into orders
Learn and grow into more complex estimating or project management responsibilities over time

About You

Experience in metal fabrication, manufacturing, engineering, or trade environments
Trade-qualified Welder or Boilermaker highly advantageous
Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings (training provided for more complex work)
Strong attention to detail and good numerical skills
Confident communicator with a customer-focused approach
Keen to learn, take initiative, and build a long-term career
