- Ability to operate tractors and other vineyard machinery
- Hold a valid MR and/or Forklift Licence (highly desirable) - willingness to obtain MR licence if you don’t have one
- Capacity to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Motivation with a keen interest to learn and ask questions
- Actively participate in all harvesting activities, by hand and machine
- Undertake day-to-day operations of the vineyard as required
- Ability to follow instructions effectively and coordinate all activities with Supervisor.
Successful applicants will naturally take pride in their work, be motivated to learn new skills, throw themselves into being one of the team, and have a good eye for detail and an overall positive attitude.
- Able to perform manual handling work and successfully pass a pre-employment medical check as part of the recruitment process
- Must have own transportation and valid driver’s licence
- Would be favourable to have Tractor experience, including use of various vineyard implements and knowledge of the daily operations of a vineyard
- Good work ethics, be reliable and be safety focused
- Ability to manage changing priorities and work under pressure.
