Commercial and Contracting Services are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Fleet Coordinator to join their friendly and dynamic team.The Commercial and Contracting Services Directorate is part of the Finance and Commercial Services Division and has responsibility for providing procurement and commercial legal support to the Department of Education and schools regarding vehicle fleet management.Our primary function is to procure, maintain and manage the Department’s vehicle fleet assets in accordance with WA Government Fleet Policy and Guidelines and liaise with Fleetcare concerning vehicle leases, contract planning and insurance management.The RoleThe Fleet Coordinator is required to be familiar with whole of government vehicle strategic objectives and be able to implement vehicle strategy through the development and maintenance of vehicle information systems, stakeholder relationships, and ensuring compliance with vehicle management processes and procedures.You will be responsible for monitoring fleet operations, compliance and ensuring appropriate policy development and maintenance, as well as managing information and knowledge sharing on contemporary vehicle management practices.
