- Proven experience in a Pastry Chef role – ideally you will have at least 2 year’s.
- Experience in a production kitchen or high-volume patisserie
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control that does not compromise operational efficiencies.
- Pride and understanding of the impact the role of Pastry Chef for our famed cake has on the success of the store and Black Star Pastry brand.
- Maintain a good level of understanding of the restaurant and hospitality industry and trends.
- Maintain and contribute toward healthy teamwork and constructive working relationships.
- Communicate clearly, professionally, authentically, and concisely, escalating concerns as appropriate.
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to meet the changing demands of our agile business.
