- Developing and maintaining a structured customer contact plan within the allocated accounts in line with allocated budget targets.
- Maintaining and enhancing positive working relationships with assigned customers to build customer loyalty and maximise the likelihood of winning future business.
- Identifying and thoroughly following up all new business, product and/or project opportunities within the existing customer base.
- Achieving the volume/unit targets (total and/or segment and/or account) within the allocated territory.
- Achieving ongoing pricing targets and complying with all pricing policies.
- Sales or account management experience in construction, building materials, or related sectors (strongly preferred).
- Relevant tertiary qualification (preferred but not essential)
- A self-motivated and outcomes-orientated attitude with a passionate ‘can do' mind set.
- A well-developed understanding of the importance of and ability to effectively communicate and build relationships both externally and within the business.
- Highly effective skills at managing key stakeholder relationships.
- A strong team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, Sales Force and other systems required to do the role effectively.
