You’ll work on complex and unique placements, collaborating with multiple stakeholders to meet tight deadlines, achieve business objectives, and drive operational efficiencies.Key accountabilities include:
- Assessing insurable risks, designing tailored insurance solutions, and negotiating the best deals in the global insurance market
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with underwriting partners
- Managing your own budget, sales plan, and debtors
- Mentoring and coaching junior team members to support their growth
- Driving new business development and expanding Gallagher’s footprint
- Acting as a brand ambassador to enhance awareness of Gallagher within the local business market
- A sales-driven mindset with the ability to build a long-term pipeline for new business growth
- Strong account management expertise and technical knowledge in general commercial insurance
- A proven track record of delivering financial and operational results
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills paired with a professional and driven attitude
- A client-first approach to providing informed risk advice and bespoke insurance solutions
- Experience managing end-to-end renewal insurance programs, including strategy meetings, renewals, reports, market engagement, amendments, and cancellations
