We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our team at our Inverell Facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals for our elderly residents in a compassionate, efficient, and safe manner.Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and cook nutritious meals for our residents, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, including storage and handling of food, utensils, and equipment.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and collaborative working relationship with other staff members.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as necessary.
  • Assist with seasonal menu planning.
About you:You will have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role. While previous experience working in a Healthcare setting is desirable, it is not a strict requirement for this role.Essential:
  • Proven experience as a in a similar environment.
  • Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure.
  • 2 Recent Managerial Referees
  • Police Clearance – we run one for you for free!
  • Compassionate and patient with a positive attitude

  • Previous experience working in the aged care or health sectors
