- Deliver upon agreed sales targets in both acquisition of new customers – with particular emphasis on medium market space
- Manage the development of a balanced and sustainable pipeline to deliver long term sales goals
- Implement upon customer experience strategies to minimise churn and improve Optus' Brand in market
- Works collaboratively with the Customer Management Team to ensure cross sell opportunities are identified and action all leads for this function.
- A natural hunter, with a proven background in new business development: commercially astute with sound understanding of business drivers
- Ability to build a pipeline of opportunities through consistently achieving high levels of prospecting activity
- Extensive relationship / strategic sales experience within the Telecommunications and/or IT sectors
- Strong presentation - written & verbal to internal and external senior executives
- Personal dedication and willingness to accept accountability for actions complimented by effective negotiation skills, able to manage external and internal relationships with ease.
- 3 days in the office, 2 days remote – with flexible hours to suit!
