About the CompanyOur client is a trusted partner to Australian and international public and private sector clients; they have a strong presence in Australia built on nearly three decades of delivery excellence and an unwavering commitment to safety.About the roleAs a Systems Engineer you will be accountable under broad direction to perform and achieve very complex systems engineering work within an integrated workforce.You will work with rest of the team to ensure a systems oriented, integrated approach is taken with respect to the product engineering development and verification activities.Role Responsibilities
  • Investigate systems engineering concepts and identify and understand the different parts within engineered systems such as software, hardware and building infrastructure.
  • Writing requirements for how a system is supposed to perform and developing prototypes.
  • Evaluate that the delivered materiel meets requirements and legislative, policy and regulatory frameworks, provide recommendations and contribute to the implementation of actions.
  • Installing new software, hardware and equipment necessary to optimize output and providing ongoing maintenance and technical support.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Tertiary qualifications (e.g. Bachelor) Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience working as a System Engineer inside complex and/or largescale ICT Projects/programs
  • Certified SAFe® Practitioner (Highly Desirable)
The successful candidate will effectively integrate complex systems, ensuring they function seamlessly while meeting all technical and operational requirements.What is on offer
