This Melbourne-based organisation processes over a million transactions annually and provides secure, technology-driven services to it's sector.They focus on secure, cloud-native infrastructure, strict data integrity, and continuous improvement of their product.We need an experienced Technical Lead who can quickly hit the ground running. You'll utilize modern tech with scope for innovative and creative solutions!Your time will be split between technical direction and day-to-day engineering:20% of your time will be dedicated to system design and architecture50% dedicated to team leadership and mentoring30% dedicated to hands-on coding and technical deliveryThis role will be split into the following...
  • Team Leadership: Line manager responsibilities such as performance management, coaching, and professional development. The team includes 7 engineers currently and might extend over time.
  • React expertise
  • Python skills (or another backend technology) combined with strong AWS Lambda skills
What you'll bring:
  • At least 3 years of technical leadership experience (including managing teams of at least 3 engineers)
  • At least 8 years of experience across Python (ideally but we will consider Java & .Net), React plus AWS (Cognito, API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, etc)
You must be an AU Citizen or AU PR to apply, plus be happy to go into the Melbourne-based office.On offer:
