- Review and analyse budget adjustments and submissions for the infrastructure investment portfolio (IIP).
- Interrogate SAP data to identify trends, correct budget gaps, and inform investment decisions.
- Prepare and coordinate high-quality reports, submissions, estimates briefs, and executive correspondence.
- Provide clear, concise, and accurate responses to requests for information within set timeframes.
- Partner with Executives, Program Directors, and Project Coordinators to strengthen portfolio outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships through consultation, negotiation, and communication.
- Contribute to the development of practices and procedures to support continuous improvement.
- Strong analytical and data skills with the ability to interrogate large datasets and resolve anomalies.
- Proficiency in Excel and SAP, with experience using Power BI highly desirable.
- Proven ability to present complex financial and project data in a user-friendly format.
- Experience in budget management, reporting, and trend analysis within government or large organisations.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing executive briefs and reports.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills, with confidence liaising at all levels.
- Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance are desirable.
- AO7 level contract opportunity within a large Queensland Government department.
