Collaborative team | Technical autonomy | End-to-end ownershipStep into a senior claims role where your technical expertise is valued, your voice is heard, and your impact is real.We’re working with a respected national insurance brokerage on the hunt for a Senior Motor Claims Consultant to take ownership of a complex portfolio of heavy motor claims. This is a hands-on, full-spectrum claims role where you’ll advocate for your clients, liaise with key stakeholders, and manage outcomes with both autonomy and support.Why this role?
- Manage 170–200 active claims
- Work closely with assessors, repairers, and insurers to drive resolutions
- Be part of a team that prioritises quality over quantity
- Step into client meetings, conduct site visits, and provide real value
- Mentor junior consultants and help raise technical capability across the team
You’re someone who sees claims not as files, but as people and businesses relying on your expertise. You’re organised, responsive, and proactive – with a high level of technical capability across commercial, fleet, or heavy motor claims.
- 3–5+ years’ experience managing end-to-end motor claims (commercial or heavy motor ideal)
- Confident communicator and decision-maker who thrives in a client-facing role
- Skilled at interpreting policy, managing recoveries, and negotiating outcomes
- Values-driven and solutions-focused, with strong commercial judgement
- Salary: $100k–$110k + super
- Flexibility: One WFH day per week post-probation, with ad-hoc flexibility as needed
