To meet our existing demands, we're looking for people with similar values to join our close-knit team, to deliver HR Consulting services to the community that we know makes a genuine difference. If you are someone who cares about what you do and how you do it but also wants to help our world be a better place, then we'd love to talk to you.We currently have an opportunity available for an experienced HR consultant to join our team to work across the following areas:
  • Providing practical, hands-on HR support to large and small not for profit organisations.
  • Assisting clients with employee relations advice, award interpretation, workplace investigations and EA guidance including negotiation, support and implementation.
  • Developing HR policies, conducting audits, and ensuring best practice compliance.
  • Working closely with key stake holders to implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Managing day-to-day HR operations—this role is for practical HR professionals, not just strategists.
The role would suit:
  • an individual seeking flexible hours with the opportunity to work from home in addition to our client's offices.
  • Someone seeking a family-friendly business supporting working parents; this is an ideal role for Mum's (or Dad's) looking to return to work and maintain a balance.
  • A current consultant in the for profit sector looking to supplement their work without the BD or
  • A consultant attracted to a part of their portfolio of work assisting community service organisations
Job Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in IR/ER or HR and at least 4 years of HR Management or Consulting experience
  • Exceptional interpersonal, influencing, and stakeholder management skills with a consultative, pragmatic approach to delivering HR solutions and recommendations
  • Ability to undertake assignments acting as interim HR cover for a range of our clients
  • Able to make autonomous HR and ER decisions to support client outcomes
  • Genuine desire to want to work within a not for profit or community environment
  • Multitasking wizard; with the agility to move between tasks without issue
  • innovative individual with a firm grasp on how to achieve continuous improvement outcomes
