About the roleThis position is a permanent full-time role in the Workshop team and is based at Council’s Moruya Depot. The successful candidate will be responsible for fitting, machining and assembly process. The role utilises a range of skills to machine, fabricate and repair components/equipment and perform other metal trade tasks as required.The starting salary for this position is $3,121.24 per fortnight plus 12% superannuation.To view the salary information and prerequisites, please view the .About youThe successful applicant will possess a Trade Certificate with relevant experience and the ability to work well in a small team. Experience working on fixed and mobile plant, light vehicles, heavy vehicles and earthmoving equipment.
Fitness and ability to work at heights and in underground/confined spaces.
Experience in the use of vehicle mounted cranes and overhead travelling gantries.
Ability to utilise technology and software programs.
