We are seeking a Financial Accountant to join our high-performing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone from a Big 4 or mid-tier firm looking to transition into industry and build on their technical expertise in a fast-paced, commercial environment.Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of monthly journals, reconciliations, and financial statements
- Assistance with statutory reporting, year-end processes, and audit support
- Management of intercompany transactions and group consolidations
- Analysis of financial data and support for continuous process improvement
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting
- CAANZ or CPA qualified (or nearing completion)
- 2-4 years' experience in a Big 4 or mid-tier professional services firm (external audit or business services)
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g. Pronto, SAP, Oracle) highly regarded
- Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills
