Randstad are looking to speak with experienced Estimator that has been involved with civil construction projects for a role based in Hobart.About the CompanyEmploying over 150 staff and being in operation for over 25 years, the company has been going from strength to strength, delivering a variety of services to their customer base that includes; civil construction and environmental management, among others.About the OpportunityAs an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates, where you will work closely with engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors. You will be involved in ensuring the estimates are not just accurate, but will also be monitoring results of tenders and updating register and other duties as required.About youThis role is ideal for an experienced Estimator that has at least 5 years demonstrated experience within the Civil Construction industry and has the ability to manage multiple competing deadlines.To be considered for the role you must;

Have the ability to analyse, evaluate and interpret a range of documents including plans, invitations to tender, contracts etc.
Have demonstrated ability in preparing quality tender submissions for construction projects including civil infrastructure, and bulk earthworks projects
Hold a high level of attention to detail and excellent computer skills
