
Tradesperson Electrical

- To conduct routine and corrective maintenance and fault repair in accordance with the prescribed methods and best practice
- Ensure al work is performed in accordance with Workplace Health and Safety (WH&S) requirements and legislative policies, and technical and operational specifications.
- Maintain all records and associated documentation relating to asset condition, maintenance programs and costing systems.
- Report actual work performed against the scheduled work program.
- Progress the implementation and application of work procedures and practices in pursuit of ensuring quality improvement.
- Electrical licence (mandatory)
- Electrical trade qualification or equivalent (mandatory)
- Locomotive and wagon experience is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience repairing and maintaining locomotives and rolling stock would be highly regarded.
- Strong fault finding and troubleshooting experience, with strong ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings.
- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and instructions including the Workplace Health and Safety Act
