- Lead national Specialties teams (Cyber, Trade Credit, M&A, Surety, Financial Institutions) to deliver Aon United
- Ideal for an inclusive leader with deep commercial competence and specialty lines expertise
- Provide strategic direction of a combined national portfolio across M&A, Cyber, Trade Credit, Surety and Financial Institutions.
- Lead and collaborate with Specialty business leaders to lead, grow and accelerate opportunities in conjunction with other Aon Australia business lines.
- Develop and implement segment strategies with the National Leadership Team, Global & Corporate and the CCO to drive revenue growth and profitability in priority clients and segments.
- Identify market opportunities, emerging risks and growth areas, driving innovation in product, service and delivery.
- Be accountable for revenue performance, client profitability, client service levels and client satisfaction across Specialties.
- Own portfolio growth for both New/New sales and New/Existing solution‑line sales to meet targets.
- Embed operational standard methodology, including Delivering Aon United (DAU) and Aon Client Leadership (ACL) models.
- Lead matrix coordination and tackle customer concerns within the segment to secure alignment and execution.
- Lead, mentor and develop high‑performing teams across specialties, encouraging collaboration and accountability.
- Align the People Strategy to business outcomes: goal setting and PMA reviews, colleague engagement, talent and succession, remuneration, and development planning.
- Operational excellence: ensure robust governance, risk management and regulatory compliance; drive efficiencies and digital transformation using Aon tools (e.g., AI, Analysers).
- Transformation & change: embed a growth mindset, innovation, continuous improvement and customer‑centricity across the enterprise.
- Risk & compliance: ensure all growth activities adhere to Australian regulations and Aon’s risk standards and policies.
- Entrepreneurial bias for action; growth and improvement approach; strong commercial competence; high personal motivation and work ethic.
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills; advanced partner management across clients, markets and internal leaders.

- Background in specialty insurance or adjacent financial/professional services leading multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Tier 1 broking compliance (PS146) or the ability to obtain within agreed timeframes.
