- Leading the design and delivery of a large-scale data migration program for a major bank.
- Engaging with executive-level stakeholders, guiding them through strategic decisions on data quality (DQ), ETL, and reconciliation aspects of the transformation.
- Owning the technical oversight of data migration activities across systems, from legacy platforms to modern infrastructure.
- Leading and mentoring 50+ data engineers, ensuring strong delivery execution across multiple streams.
- Shaping data architecture using technologies such as Informatica, Azure Synapse, Cloudera etc, in collaboration with Infrastructure teams.
- Applying deep knowledge of data migration methodologies within Agile frameworks, while maintaining the rigour of “old-school” data migration best practices.
- Designing robust solutions for operational systems, not just data warehouses, ensuring the migrated data supports mission-critical business processes.
- Navigating and influencing outcomes in a matrixed and complex enterprise environment.
- 10–15 years’ experience in data migration, with a proven track record of leading full-lifecycle migrations for operational platforms.
- Deep hands-on and strategic experience in solution design and technical delivery.
- Strong architecture-level knowledge across modern and legacy technologies: Informatica, Synapse, Cloudera, SQL, CSV.
- Experience working within SDLC frameworks, using industry-standard toolsets.
- Proven success in guiding large-scale engineering teams, managing technical deliverables, and ensuring quality outcomes.
- Clear and confident communicator with demonstrated executive stakeholder engagement experience.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, Agile environments and influence complex program structures.
