- Act on behalf of major Australian and international insurers in public liability, property damage, and institutional/government abuse matters.
- Manage a caseload of litigated and non-litigated insurance claims, with appropriate guidance based on experience.
- Draft and prepare pleadings, advices, settlement documents, and court submissions.
- Attend court appearances, mediations, and settlement conferences.
- Provide commercially focused legal advice to insurers and insureds.
- Collaborate with senior lawyers and partners on complex, high-value matters.
- Between 1-6 years' post-admission experience, ideally in insurance litigation, personal injury, or related practice areas.
- Strong drafting and technical legal skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confidence in managing files and client relationships with professionalism.
- Strong organisation and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
- A collaborative, client-focused mindset with a genuine interest in building a career in insurance law.
