Fuse Recruitment are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Trades Assistant to assist our clients welding and fabrication team in their site located in Greenacre. Ongoing temp to perm role, Day shift, Monday to Friday paying $38 p/hr.The Client:
A National brand specialising in the Audio Visual industry, located in GreenacreFor you:
  • Monday to Friday role!
  • 7am – 3:06pm shift!
  • $38 p/hr + Super!
  • Temp to Perm for proven performers after 3 months!
  • No daily shift confirmation needed from the agency!
The Role: Manufacturing Trades AssistantThis role is manufacturing site based.This role will see you completing Trades Assistant based work assisting trades people such as welders and fabricators. You will work on projects making equipment such as brackets and speakers, cabling systems and structural beams.Your main duties will involve:
  • Assisting trades people
  • Drilling and Grinding of metal materials
  • Painting of finished products
  • Linishing duties, grinding and sanding to create flatness and smoothness of product surfaces
  • Assembling equipment
  • Use of both hand and power tools
  • Following and reading plans
  • General workshop clean up duties at the end of each day
Shift Available:
Day:
  • 7am starts
  • 3:06pm finishes
  • Monday to Friday
  • $38 p/hr + Super
The Candidate:
To be successful in obtaining this role you will have the following experience:
  • Previous Manufacturing trades assistant experience is a must
  • Hand and power tool experience is a must
  • Experience with Drilling and Grinding of metal materials
  • Experience with Painting of finished products
  • Linishing Experience
  • Experience following and reading plans for assembling products
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent WHS knowledge
  • Heavy lifting up to 20 kgs
  • Must be able to commit to this role in an ongoing capacity
Advantageous:
  • Forklift license
  • Welding experience
