The opportunityWe are in the market for an experienced and qualified professional Town Planner who is passionate about their profession and enjoy the rewards of a good challenge.As one of two Senior Planners within our Statutory Planning team, you will be responsible for the assessment of exciting and complex development proposals, subdivisions and structure plans. You will be a key liaison between the City, government agencies, developers, the community and internal colleagues. You will have a keen eye for detail and a solutions-based approach to finding positive outcomes. There are opportunities to mentor other members of the team while collaborating on the varied and interesting proposals.To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A Degree in Urban and Regional Planning or equivalent with 5 years of experience
  • Demonstrated skills in a solution-based approach
  • Strong understanding of the West Australian Planning system
  • Exceptional analytical skills
  • The ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
