Plus, there’s equal employment, great training, and true flexible working arrangements.We are building our team a within Field Services and have a great opportunity for a Field Quality Specialist to join our team.A bit about your roleOur Field Services group within nbn undertakes Network and Service field tasks across all technologies both inside plant, outside plant up to and including customer premises. It does this work through a mix of internal and external workforces.In this role you will predominantly undertake both pre and post compliance activities across the full range of field tasks across our technologies which include: FTTP (Fibre to the Premise), FTTN (Fibre to the Node), FTTB (Fibre to the Building), FTTC (Fibre to the Curb), HFC (Hybrid Fibre Coaxial), FW (Fixed Wireless) and SAT (Satellite).You will also be responsible for auditing all field workforces for compliance to nbn standards with respect to HS&E and Quality, across nbn Build, Service and Network programs.This position will be based in NSW Regional South, however occasional travel will be required as necessary to meet business demands.A bit about youAs the successful candidate, you will boast experience in a Civils or Telecommunications Field Operations environment with an understanding of telecommunications constructions and/or activations methodologies and practices. You will also have understanding of copper and fibre technology and how they are installed.Your strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to guide and motivate team members, as well as your passion for building solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders will also see you succeed in this role.Please note that this role will be a permanent position.Life at nbnAt nbn our people have a clear and shared purpose - empowering Australians to redefine the way they live, work and play into the future.
