- Prepare, cook and serve food for the breakfast buffet showing variety and flair
- Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage following stock control procedures
- Assist the preparation of ingredients, which includes chopping, slicing, dicing, and measuring food products.
- Ensure Food Safety protocols are followed
- Keep all working areas clean and tidy. Cook is required to wash all dishes during service
- Ensure all equipment is maintained, serviced and cleaned. Report any problems to the CDP & General Manager.
- Proven experience as a Cook in a high-volume kitchen.
- Must hold a food safety certificate
- Strong culinary skills and a passion for delivering exceptional food experiences.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Culinary degree or equivalent an advantage but not essential.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- MUST have full working rights within Australia
- Able to work a Full Time contract
- Ability to pass a federal police background security check
