- Personally undertake radiation therapy planning and treatment responsibilities and associated duties.
- Promote and contribute to an effective multidisciplinary team at the Centre and across the practice.
- Responsible for the correct administration of all radiation therapy processes and procedures.
- Ensure that all administration and documentation requirements are initiated and completed in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure established patient care standards are maintained.
- Liaise with members of the health care team in the planning and delivery of patient services.
- Ensure patients are provided with relevant material and information relating to radiation therapy.
- Be competent in Radiation Therapy, CT & treatment planning. Possibly rotations in all areas
- Demonstrated technical competence in treatment, including comprehensive knowledge of contemporary radiotherapy modalities and techniques.
- The ability to demonstrate the ability to work in an effective team environment.
- Strong empathy, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of radiotherapy and associated allied healthcare services Qualifications and Experience.
- Bachelor degree as relevant (Radiation Therapy, Radiation Oncology Medical Physics, etc).
- Registration as a Radiation Therapist with AHPRA.
- Hold a current NSW EPA Radiation Licence.
