Our client is looking for a senior residential care officer. To be suitable for this role, you will need to be experienced, skilled and qualified for the required position.This role will require the following essential skills:- Client training needs and support assessments programs including the planning and development of educational training and support programs- Identify the nature and extent of each client's difficulties
- Monitoring and reporting on the progress of clients
- Referrals to support agencies to provide additional help- Assessment of resources required (for health, welfare, housing and other facilities and services).- Liaising with community groups, welfare agencies, government bodies and private business about community issues and promoting awareness of community resources and services.- Supporting families and providing educational care for children- Supervision and helping young people address social, emotional and financial problems- Preparation of submission for funding and resources and reporting as necessaryRequired:AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma OR At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for formal qualifications.Salary Range of $85,000-$95,000 + superannuationPlease note only successful candidates will be contacted.
