My client is a high reputable and established mid-tier firm with a national and global network. Their key service lines include business advisory, taxation, consulting, audit, risk and wealth management. They provide these solutions for a broad range of individuals, businesses, government organisations and institutions.They are now recruiting an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Services Accountant to work in a remote role supporting one of their regional offices. You will work alongside a friendly and supportive team and will be given ample opportunity to develop your professional and technical skills.This role will work across a variety of clients including large privately held businesses and family groups. While providing a base in compliance the work is extremely varied, adapting to the needs of each client.The business provide a range of market leading benefits and flexibility to their staff. This includes a highly flexible work-from-home policy and the option for part-time hours (4 days per week).Key duties will include:

Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships
Preparation of BAS & IAS
Assistance with compilation of special purpose financial statements for family groups
Reviewing the work of junior and offshore team members
Working with a range of the top accounting software, helping clients to learn the full functionality of their system and get the most out of it for their business needs

The ideal candidate will:

Be qualified/undertaking or looking to commence CA/CPA qualification
Hold a relevant tertiary degree
Possess 3 + years experience in tax or business services within a public practice firm
Have experience reviewing the work of junior staff
Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
Be genuinely interested in expanding their career in the advisory space
