My client is a boutique cloud-based CA practice with a team of 20 staff. The firm provides services in compliance, advisory, virtual CFO, and finance.They are now looking to hire a Tax/Business Services Manager to oversee their tax lodgement program, be the go-to person in-house for tax and compliance related queries and more complex advisory work. Therefore unlocking the Directors so they can focus on providing VCFO and strategic services to their clients.You will oversee a dedicated team of offshore accountants in the Philippines as well working with the wider business. This role would sit on the firm’s senior leadership team, and there is plenty of scope to develop the offering once settled into the position. Given the background of their clients, they aren’t looking for a corporate tax specialist (as they lean on external providers where necessary for more complex projects) but rather a very capable and confident Manager, who can drive efficiency.The firm is up-to-date with the latest technology and have all their clients integrated into Xero.This is a unique opportunity to be part of a growing business with a laid-back and down-to-earth culture. The firm provides all team members with necessary technology and home office set-up (including a work phone), have a highly flexible approach to work (with only 1 day required in-office per month), and have regular social and team based events to remain connected.The ideal candidate will possess:

CA/CPA qualification
8 + years experience in public practice
A minimum of 12 months in management role - ideally with experience working with offshore team members
Strong experience with relevant accounting systems including Xero & XPM
A confident, and proactive approach
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
An interest in working for a tech forward firm in a mostly remote capacity
