The company is known for its strong focus on technology, operational excellence, and delivering secure, user focused solutions across a diverse infrastructure landscape.Job DescriptionAs the SOE Technical Specialist, you will be required to:
  • Lead the creation, deployment, and maintenance of the Standard Operating Environment (SOE) across all end user devices including desktops, laptops, virtual machines, kiosks, and mobile devices.
  • Manage Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (Config Manager & Intune), Horizon VDI, and oversee patching, application packaging, automated distribution, and version control.
  • Administer system configurations, policies, firmware, and automation scripts to ensure a secure and optimised environment.
  • Maintain desktop images, plan and execute hardware and OS upgrades, and manage the full lifecycle of software and drivers.
  • Provide expert level support to users and projects, ensuring timely incident resolution and proactive service delivery.
  • Collaborate with vendors, manage software licensing and toolsets, and oversee asset lifecycle planning.
  • Ensure compliance with change management processes and cybersecurity standards, including application whitelisting and patch management.
  • Promote a safety conscious culture and ensure adherence to occupational health and safety procedures.
The Successful ApplicantThe ideal candidate will bring:
  • Strong technical expertise in Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Intune, Autopilot, and Endpoint Analytics.
  • Proficiency in Active Directory, Group Policy, and scripting (PowerShell, VBScript, Batch).
  • Experience with enterprise scale software deployments and modern endpoint management strategies.
  • A proactive, analytical mindset with excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities, with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and compliance.
