Our client is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their dynamic global finance team, to manage monthly and quarterly reporting across Australia, Singapore, New Zealand, and Malaysia, including sales reporting, general ledger reconciliations, P&L reviews, and divisional management reports. Reporting into the Group Financial Controller your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the month-end reporting process to drive efficiencies
- Prepare monthly management reporting packs
- Conduct general ledger reconciliations
- Support Group Reporting to our overseas parent company
- Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting
- Perform commercial analysis of financial data
- Manage intercompany loan accounts
- Prepare insurance renewals, monthly BAS, annual FBT returns
- Ensure general ledger integrity and oversee cost accounting
- Coach and support other members of the finance team
- Establish relationships outside finance to deliver variance analysis and commentary
- Prepare ad hoc internal management reports as required
- CA/CPA Qualification or working towards completion
- First mover from a Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm
- Or 2+ years’ experience in a global organisation in an industry role
- Strong analytical ability and clear communication skills
- A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to see the bigger picture
- Passionate about improving systems, processes, and supporting team members
