Do work that matters:The purpose of this role is to provide design, implementation and support in order to drive excellence, quality and performance for an IT service, across one or multiple portfolios. The role has:Active responsibility to work on the design, implementation & Network engineering for the Utilisation of standardised IT services to promote business valueAccountability to support and maintain the utility of provided services and meet the ongoing technology requirements for business, projects and IT stakeholders.Provide support for escalation of operational issues whenever required.Flexibility in working hours to accommodate after hour changes.About the role and team:The Network Security Engineering team is responsible for delivering network security requirements and implementation to achieve business outcomes.The GTS Networks team is responsible for delivering, supporting and continuously improving the Bank’s Global Network and Security services.Our Global Technology Services (GTS) products and services are leveraged across all Business Unit Platforms within the Bank to deliver industry-leading software including: CommBank App, Netbank, CommSee, CommSec, CommBiz and Commbank.com.auWe’re interested in hearing from people whoIs an expert at the Full Cycle model, where engineers are involved in Design, Build, Change, and RunHave a passion for designing, developing, deploying and running high quality modern solutions.Contributes to a culture where quality, inclusiveness and excellence are championed.Lead efforts to embed security best practices across infrastructure and deployment workflowsAct as a technical mentor and thought leader for platform engineering standards and architecturePerform security assessments across platform components.Have a natural drive to educate, communicate and positively influence various stakeholder groups including high level executivesTech SkillsWe use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks.
