This position undertakes the procurement of ammunition, weapons and ancillary equipment and consumables. Provides specialist advice on contract management and procurement of weapons and consumables. Manages stakeholder compliance and delivery, and provides advice of project/program management and governance. Coordinates and administers the logistics (order, receipt, storage, distribution, auditing) relating to the Western Australia Police Force weapons, ammunition and consumables. Analyses weapons and ammunition holdings regularly to determine future needs of the agency.SPECIALIST PRE-REQUISITEIt is a requirement that the position holder is successful in obtaining and maintaining a NEGATIVE VETTING LEVEL 1 security clearance for the duration of their appointment in the position. Only Australian Citizens are eligible to hold and maintain the NEGATIVE VETTING LEVEL 1 security clearance. Any applicants who are currently not an Australian Citizen must be aware that this is an essential requirement to fulfil this position (please refer to the attached position description).
