This includes roads, drainage, footpaths, carparks, public open spaces, and more. The role will also coordinate maintenance and capital works programs, contribute to budget planning, and oversee contractors and consultants to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.A full position description can be found here:About You:Our ideal candidate will have proven experience in asset management with a sound understanding of civil and municipal infrastructure, ideally within a local government setting. You'll be confident in using asset management systems and databases, and capable of developing and implementing long-term maintenance and capital works programs.You'll have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, strong time management, and the ability to work both independently and within a team. Experience managing contractors, preparing technical specifications, and contributing to project planning and budgets will be essential.To succeed in this role, you will have:Experience in asset management and infrastructure planningStrong computer skills including spreadsheets, databases, and scheduling softwareHigh-level written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated ability to manage contractors and consultantsWhite Card and a current unrestricted 'C' class driver's licenceDesirable qualifications and experience include:Formal qualifications in asset or project managementFamiliarity with GIS systems, RAMM or NAMS PlusKnowledge of the Broome region and prior local government experienceDon't meet every single requirement? $91.7k -$98.k base salary per annum (depending on your experience)
