POSITION SUMMARY
This is an awesome opportunity to join MRI’s APAC Talent Team, leading the way within the APAC region to craft amazing workspaces and experiences that enable our teams to do their best work. From getting your hands dirty in the day-to-day running of our workspaces, through to leading large-scale projects like office fit-outs and moves – this role will be fun, varied and has the scope to shape and make your own. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, proactive and capable of managing remote employees, CoWorks, and offices throughout NZ and AUS.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESFacilities Operations & MaintenanceManage both hard and soft services such as maintenance, cleaning, catering, landscaping, and waste disposal across seven locations.Lead space planning, office moves, and workstation configurations to meet evolving business needs.Ensure the office environment meets health, safety, and environmental standards in line with Australian regulations.Conduct regular inspections and maintenance audits.People & Team ManagementOversee external vendors and contractors, ensuring service quality and compliance.Support employee wellbeing through proactive office management, ergonomics, and workplace safety.Act as the primary point of contact for staff queries or issues related to the office and remote working environments.Employee Experience & Workplace CultureCreate a welcoming, functional, and productive environment for a diverse workforce.Partner with HR and department leads to support in-office and remote events, wellness programs, and hybrid working arrangements.Compliance & Risk ManagementMaintain full compliance with occupational health and safety standards, fire codes, and building regulations.Develop and manage emergency response procedures and ensure staff are trained.Budgeting & ReportingDevelop and oversee the facilities budget, track expenses, and identify cost-efficiency opportunities.Prepare reports on facilities performance, incidents, and improvement initiatives.REQUIREMENTS:2–4 years’ experience as an Office Manager or in a similar role2+ years’ experience managing multiple projects with competing deadlinesStrong organisational skills — able to balance day-to-day responsibilities while driving complex projectsPrevious experience leading a small team to successfully deliver business outcomesSolid communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including landlords, property managers, and third-party vendorsPrevious experience in a similar facilities role is advantageous but not critical — more important is your passion, motivation, and ability to be an integral part of our successWHAT MAKES THIS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY?Flexible working arrangementsAnnual performance-related bonus6x Flexi AnyDay – knock 2.5 hours off your day!Me Days – additional 3 days of annual leave for qualifying employeesEngaging, fun & inclusive culture: check out the MRI Software APAC Insta feed and stories!ABOUT US:MRI Software delivers innovative applications and hosted solutions that free real estate companies to elevate their business.
