- Take ownership of various industry insurance schemes, providing day-to-day strategic and operational management
- Provide excellent service to scheme members and corporate sponsors
- Initiate and progress new and renewal policy binding, invoicing and distribution of related policy documentation.
- Process quotation and placing slips.
- Prepare information and documentation for Pre-Renewal and Broking meetings.
- Produce renewal reports and insurance manuals as required.
- Tier 1 Insurance Broking Compliance qualification.
- Experience in an SME or Scheme environment (well regarded).
- Client service, underwriting, claims or insurance broking experience (well regarded).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ability to learn new skills and concepts.
- Strong Microsoft suite and Broker IT platform skills.
- Excellent client service ability – to be able to anticipate client needs and exceed them
- Motivated self-starter focused on achieving results
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to recognize and solve problems and think outside the square
- Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite and demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly
