Mackay Base Hospital is seeking Registered Nurses (Grade 5) to join the Emergency Department. This is a high-paced clinical environment, and nurses will be providing comprehensive emergency care to both adult and paediatric patients.Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' Emergency Department experience (essential)
- Knowledge of ieMR and proficiency in using this system (desirable)
- Previous experience with QLD Health, Mackay HHS, or other Australian health facilities (desirable)

The Mackay Base Hospital Emergency Department is a Level 4 clinical service with both adult and paediatric presentations. The ED includes:
- 2 Resuscitation/Trauma bays
- 3 High Dependency Unit (HDU) bays
- 12 Acute bed spaces
- 5 Paediatric bays
- 12 Fast Track spaces
- 16 Short Stay beds
- 2 Mental Health bays
- 1 Isolation HDU bay
