A leading hydraulic manufacturing company North of the river is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with proven experience operating Okuma CNC machines. This role is ideal for an independent operator who can confidently set, program, and run machines with minimal supervision.About the Company:This organisation is a recognised leader in the design and manufacture of hydraulic components and systems for fluid power applications. Their modern facility supports both low-volume custom builds and high-volume automated CNC production. With ISO 9001 accreditation and a strong focus on R&D, they deliver precision-engineered solutions across mining, industrial, and infrastructure sectors.Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate Okuma CNC machines for precision component manufacturing
Interpret technical drawings and specifications
Perform quality checks and adjustments to ensure accuracy
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Collaborate with production team to meet daily targets

Requirements:

Demonstrated experience with Okuma CNC controls
Ability to set and program machines independently
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
Trade qualification in machining or equivalent experience

What's on Offer:

Competitive hourly rate of $56.25
Stable daytime hours: 6am-3pm, Monday to Friday
Initial 6-month contract with strong potential for permanent placement
