The Sutherland Hospital and Community Health Service is located in the Sutherland Shire ('the Shire'), approximately half an hour drive south of Sydney, in the suburb of Caringbah. The Sutherland Hospital was established in 1958 and is a major metropolitan hospital and teaching hospital. The hospital motto, from its inception, is "Endeavour to Serve".We offer a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient healthcare services to the residents of the Sutherland Shire. We have 375 beds and each year we care for more than 50,000 patients in our Emergency Department and around 28,000 patients are admitted to our hospital.The role
The purpose of the role is to provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services across The Sutherland Hospital and affiliated services, for the defined specialty area of clinical pharmacy and Antimicrobial Stewardship.All Specialist Pharmacist roles are integral members of The Sutherland Hospital pharmacy team to provide specialist clinical knowledge and skills for the pharmacy service. The position will work closely with Team Leader and Lead Pharmacist positions, to maintain comprehensive pharmacy service across all operational hours.Benefits:
