
Retail Claims - Senior Case Manager

- Lead and support our case managers who assess long-term, Death and Terminal Illness claims.
- Own a small portfolio of complex claims across Income Protection, Death and Terminal Illness.
- Be the team's go-to expert-share knowledge, coach on best practice, and role-model Zurich's claims philosophy.'
- Make sure our claims processes are followed, and quality standards are met, including reporting and remediation where needed.
- Help improve how we work: review and update procedures, contribute to key projects, and find smart efficiencies. Be open to new ideas and methods.
- Solid end-to-end experience in retail life claims, with strong policy interpretation across different cover types.
- Strong understanding of LICOP (Life Insurance Code of Practice).
- Broad knowledge of medical, financial, legal, product and regulatory aspects of life insurance.
- Clear grasp of the legal framework for insurance contracts and strict respect for confidentiality of medical and financial information.
- Proven ability to coach, mentor and lift team capability.
- Customer focus: you aim to meet or exceed customer expectations, directly and through the team.
- Great communication skills-able to adjust your style for different people and situations.
- Initiative and strong problem-solving skills.
- Certificate IV in Life Insurance (preferred).
