The George Town Hospital is approximately 50km North of Launceston.

The Role:Provide general reception duties for the George Town Hospital and Community Centre and administrative and secretarial support to the Director of Nursing - George Town (DON) and Nurse Unit Manager - George Town Hospital and Community Centre (NUM).You will need:

The Administrative Assistant works under general direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing - George Town, and in their absence is required to use initiative and decision making in the completion of tasks relating to the everyday running of the facility.

Permanent, part time, day worker position, working 30.4 hours per fortnight, commencing from 12 November 2025.
Fixed term, casual, position working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible for approximately 24 months

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.Salary: $66,049 to $70,993 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
