Job Description:RPQ provides a range of quality services in road construction and maintenance. As a fully owned subsidiary of Downer Group, RPQ employs over 200 staff and have a fleet of over 300 machines. RPQ operates out of locations spread over Queensland and New South Wales and boasts a high level of industry experience across our management, operational and support staff.As a Project Coordinator based in Mackay, you will play a key role in delivering technical, estimating, contractual, and quality support across our construction projects. You'll be responsible for planning resources, promoting industry best practices, and ensuring operational excellence.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide technical support and coordinate resources for project delivery.
  • Oversee financial performance assessments and forecasts.
  • Deliver Contract Quality Representative (CQR) services.
  • Promote RPQ Group's goods and services.
  • Ensure equipment maintenance and calibration compliance.
  • Foster strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
  • Uphold RPQ's values in safety, quality, environment, and community.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in civil construction.
  • Expertise in spray seal, asphalt, stabilisation mix designs, and road pavement technology.
  • Strong understanding of construction specifications and materials testing.
  • Proven experience in project estimation and financial forecasting.
  • High-level communication skills and a commitment to ethical standards.
  • Knowledge of State and Local government contract management.
  • Safety-first mindset with relevant inductions and certifications.
