- Lead the development of new business opportunities and plan and execute Business plans with potential key Customers to deliver against the overall Business strategy
- Liaise with any new or existing customers and the business to input to the development of the strategic sales plan to grow, meet and exceed sales and revenue targets and achieve profitable growth commitments across several product and service offerings
- Proactively generate new business through a variety of go to market strategies and core propositions as well as the development of new business leads through the sales cycle
- Achieve customer additions, revenue and profit objectives/budgets
- Negotiate major deals and develop submit tender response within policy guidelines.
- Develop business engagement models and identify opportunities for business improvement
- Identify and steer opportunities for business improvement
- Report performance to budget with variance analysis and revised projections
- Contribute to, and devise the development/implementation of sales strategies
- Attend and present at relevant seminars and other customer focussed events
- Work closely with cross-functional teams both locally and interstate, to deliver a seamless customer experience
- Management of the sales process from initial order through to implementation and beyond
- Negotiate major deals and submit tenders within policy guidelines
- Sales experience in Major Accounts / Tier 1 Enterprise Accounts or a strong track record in existing and new business development
- Understanding of cross-selling, up-selling, and value-based selling
- Exposure to selling managed services and/or solutions (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to engage and support stakeholders across opportunities and accounts, both locally and interstate
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Good financial and analytical thinking with commercial awareness
- Proactive, self-managed approach with a strong drive to achieve results
- Strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
- Confident presentation skills
