About our Client:A leading national law firm is seeking an experienced lawyer to join its high-performing Property team in Sydney. This role offers the opportunity to manage significant commercial property transactions for institutional clients, working alongside respected leaders in the field.About the Role:You will lead and manage a variety of property matters with a primary focus on commercial acquisitions and disposals of office, industrial, and retail assets. The position also involves a secondary focus on landlord leasing work, including development leases. You will be responsible for drafting, negotiating, and reviewing contracts for sale, due diligence reports, and leasing documentation, while ensuring compliance and managing risk throughout the transaction lifecycle. Collaboration with clients, agents, and financiers will be a core part of the role.About You:
  • 7+ years’ PQE in property law, ideally from a mid or top-tier firm, with strong transactional experience.
  • Proven ability to manage complex matters independently.
  • Experience supervising and mentoring junior team members is advantageous.
  • Exceptional commercial acumen, attention to detail, and client service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach to teamwork.
