
Manager – Enterprise models, Model Risk

- Lead independent validation of Group-wide models across capital, liquidity, conduct, and financial crime risks
- Work with senior stakeholders to uplift model risk practices and governance across the bank
- Sydney-based preferred, with flexibility to consider candidates in Melbourne
- Significant experience in model validation or development, ideally across multiple risk classes including capital, liquidity, and financial crime
- Strong programming skills (e.g. SAS, SQL, R, Python) and the ability to interpret regulatory standards, financial statements, and Pillar III reports
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex concepts and influence non-technical and senior stakeholders
- Proven ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality outcomes with minimal supervision
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, with a collaborative and constructive approach to challenge
- Experience mentoring junior team members and contributing to the uplift of model risk practices, including interest in AI model validation
