Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Reliable is key
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Attention to detail in preparation & food presentation
Police Clearance Certificate

These key requirements will be complimented by experience and skills in the following areas:

Experience working in a fast-paced team - Essential
Experience in food provision services – Essential
Previous experience in food & beverage / catering – Essential
Experience in the Tourism and/or Hospitality Industry - Desirable
Current First Aid Certificate – Desirable

About the roleThis position is an integral part of our galley (kitchen) team. Tasks include food preparation, ensuring food is rotated and kept in a clean and orderly manner, assisting with galley cleaning and maintenance, assisting with galley duties such as dish-washing and the transportation, and loading and unloading of food and equipment.The Galley Hand is responsible for the maintenance of health and hygiene standards as required for a commercial kitchen under the guidance of the Head Chef and is required to keep all food service and preparation equipment clean and hygienic at all times.Please apply by COB Friday 25 July 2025.
