About Our ClientThe organisation is a well-established and reputable player in the business services industry. Operating as a medium-sized firm, they are known for their professional approach and commitment to excellence in accounting and finance.Job DescriptionThe Senior Financial Accountant will be responsible for but not limited to:

Prepare and review financial reports in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
Ensure the accuracy of month-end and year-end closing processes.
Oversee tax compliance, including GST, FBT, and income tax obligations.
Provide detailed analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
Manage relationships with external auditors and other stakeholders.
Implement and maintain robust financial controls and policies.
Support the budgeting and forecasting processes as required.
Mentor and guide junior accounting staff to ensure team success.

The Successful ApplicantThe successful candidate will be/have:

CA/CPA qualification (or relevant and equivalent qualification)
Experience in a similar role
Great presentation and communication skills
Ability to commence asap/immediately
Background in audit or business services is ideal
