Combining expertise in human resource management, workforce management, and change management, the position focuses on delivering innovative workforce strategies and engagement programs that strengthen capability, culture, and performance.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead workforce and change initiatives that strengthen capability and culture.
  • Act as a trusted coach and advisor, empowering leaders to manage people effectively.
  • Use data and insights to guide decision-making and tackle organisational challenges.
  • Ensure compliance and contribute to the development of practical HR policies and processes.
  • Build strong relationships across the business, navigating complexity and influencing outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the People & Culture team to deliver integrated solutions that drive success
About You
  • Experience leading the design and implementation of innovative workforce change strategies and engagement programs that drive organisational transformation.
  • Demonstrated application of a data-driven approach to HR business partnering, using metrics and performance indicators to develop KPI-focused strategies and actionable plans.
  • Proven ability to coach and guide leaders through people-related challenges, ensuring compliance, and empowering them to manage their teams effectively.
  • High level business acumen, with the ability to quickly understand stakeholder dynamics, and linking HR strategies to business risks and opportunities.
  • Experience in building strong stakeholder relationships in complex environments, navigating competing priorities while fostering collaboration and alignment.
  • Significant experience advising, coaching, and influencing executive-level leaders.
  • Strong capability in managing complex employee relations matters and leading workforce change.
  • Experience in government or large complex matrix organisations will be highly regarded.
  • Exposure to the infrastructure sector will also be advantageous.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification, in Human Resource Management, Organisational Development, Industrial Relations or similar field preferred.
