- Engineering Delivery & Technical Assurance - Support the acquisition, verification, validation, and certification of LC4 materiel, ensuring alignment with One Defence Capability System and LCSS SPO engineering standards.
- Requirements & Documentation Management - Lead or contribute to requirements derivation, traceability, and acceptance, while developing and reviewing key engineering artefacts such as SEMPs, safety cases, and materiel certification packs.
- Verification, Validation & Risk Management - Plan and execute V&V activities, identify and mitigate risks, and contribute to schedule assurance across the project lifecycle.
- Contract & Stakeholder Engagement - Support contract negotiations and tender evaluations, review contractor deliverables, and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaboration & Mentorship - Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, share expertise, and provide guidance to peers and junior engineers to foster a high-performing, knowledge-sharing culture.
- Engineering qualifications (Electrical, Electronics, Communications, RF, Systems, Mechatronics, or Mechanical)
- Systems engineering experience in projects within the One Defence Capability System, including relevant experience in the Joint or Land Domain.
- Development of key engineering project artefacts such as the Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP), Materiel Certification Plan (MCP), Verification Cross Reference Matrix (VCRM) and Verification and Validation (V&V) Plans, Procedures, Reports and Final Inspection and Test (FI&T) Plans, Procedures and Reports.
- Planning, scoping, budgeting and forecasting of tasks, activities and deliverables within the Project, and the ability to work in a distributed team across a varied workforce and environment.
- Conducting of key tests, trials and demonstration activities in support of the above-mentioned key artefacts.
