They are a recruitment and labour-hire company, assisting Australian businesses across multiple industries in finding permanent, temporary, and temp-to-perm employees. With a strong presence in Sydney and an expanding national footprint since 2020, they take pride in providing reliable staffing solutions that meet the highest ISO-certified standards for safety and operational excellence.We are currently seeking an experienced Cook to join their client network working across various client sites across Sydney and New South Wales. The successful candidate will be placed with one of their partners businesses and will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality food preparation and kitchen operations.Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook meals in accordance with menu requirements, dietary needs, and quality standards.
Ensure consistency of food presentation, taste, and portion control.
Manage stock levels, food ordering, and inventory control.
Maintain a clean, hygienic, and safe kitchen environment in compliance with food safety regulations.
Assist in developing new menu items and seasonal specials.
Supervise and provide guidance to junior kitchen staff where required.

Requirements:

Certificate IV or Diploma in Commercial Cookery or Hospitality.
At least two (2) years of recent experience working as a Cook, preferably within restaurants or commercial kitchens.
Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and OH&S practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work across various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
