- Prepare and cook meals in accordance with menu requirements, dietary needs, and quality standards.
- Ensure consistency of food presentation, taste, and portion control.
- Manage stock levels, food ordering, and inventory control.
- Maintain a clean, hygienic, and safe kitchen environment in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Assist in developing new menu items and seasonal specials.
- Supervise and provide guidance to junior kitchen staff where required.
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Commercial Cookery or Hospitality.
- At least two (2) years of recent experience working as a Cook, preferably within restaurants or commercial kitchens.
- Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and OH&S practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work across various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
